Road Trip Pit Stop: Louisville

We left Grami and Papa's house and headed north to Louisville KY to visit Michael and Katie and the boys before they left on vacation. Sadie planned her own surprise, mermaid 5 year old birthday party, to be at Dudas' home with her cousins since she wouldn't have friends in Cleveland next month for her actual birthday, yet.
look at that joy on her face when everyone jumped out even though she knew they were hiding

Cake from Joelle's in Hoptown / delicious strawberry and buttercream icing
All I wanted to do was hold Chase, Michael and Katie's new baby (7 weeks old!). And everyone else wanted to kiss and hold him too!
Sadie and Connor are only 6 weeks apart and buddied up fast! Parker and Levi also played well together even though they are 6 months apart.
On Saturday we went to the Louisville Zoo. They have a ton of animals we weren't used to seeing in Seattle such as polar bears, baby hippos, and elephants! The four older kids even did camel rides!

Katie pampered us girls by taking us to get manicures. Then I went with Katie that night to a fundraiser for Feed My Neighbor called Let's Dance Louisville. Katie's best friend was dancing in a  remake of Dancing with the Stars to raise money. So fun!

The Dudas' boys have the best toys! The kids loved their trampoline the best!
And despite all the room and bed space at Michael and Katies' house, my kids still needed to fall asleep together in one bed : ) The Dudas' left for vacation and mom and dad stay an extra day. Mom was going to stay longer but she is in so much back pain dad had to get her to a doctor on Monday. Pray for answers and relief for mom!
