No Time, Buy Online
For some reason I don't have time (or don't want to make time) to grocery shop or do any kind of shopping for that matter. Therefore to get food, razors, paper towels, etc I resort to the internet. So thankful for these services!
AmazonSmile: Smile is the same thing as regular Amazon and does not cost any extra to shop through BUT what it does allow is for a percentage of your purchases to go to a charity of your choice. Literally any charity you can think of is on there… including Hallows Church. Amazon is our main source of products… where I purchase books, random household goods, gifts, etc. What makes this so sweet is being an Amazon Prime member. Two. Day. Free. Shipping. AMAZING!
AmazonFresh: new found friend. grocery shopping done by clicking a few buttons and choosing a delivery time… not sure if I will go back to a grocery store again. (you can even pick out fresh fish from Pike's Place Market or choose donuts from local bakery!)
NatureBox: for those healthy snack foods that you just can't find on AmazonFresh! Pretty pumped for this to arrive.
Noonday Collection: shop cute gifts and help others. Check it out for girlie gifts mainly
Seattle Public Library Online Resource: I discovered that you can not only place books on hold but if it is at another branch they will send it to the Fremont branch so I can walk and pick it up! So convenient. Leighton also wanted to watch some Berenstain Bear videos which we don't get on our TV because she loves their books and I was able to get them reserved at Library too! win win
Two books I am going to hopefully read soon when I picked them up at library are:
Love Does and Loving the Little Years: Motherhood in the Trenches
Two books I thought were good (in addition to Kisses from Katie and some others):
Surprised by Motherhood which is about a girl who lost her mom when she was a teen and thought she never wanted to have kids. She talks about how now being a mom surprised her with sweet times and difficult times but really how she saw God used it to grow her.
Rhinestone Jesus which discusses a lady's journey before and after saying yes to Jesus and following His plans for her life. It explains more the charity we hope to support at Sadie's birthday, Mercy House Kenya.
