Road Trip Day 4: Craig CO to North Platte NE

This morning we left Craig CO and headed east through Steamboat CO and then around the top portion of the Rockies toward Cheyenne WY. It was so pretty driving alongside the river in the mountains.

In Cheyenne we did the touristy Cheyenne Depot Plaza and smoothies. 

After that we headed east into Nebraska looking at miles and miles of fields. We stopped in Ogallaga NE (hot spot from Lonesome Dove) for dinner and then made our way to North Platte to stay the night in a hotel. 

We got a glimpse at small town USA in the Wild Wild West today. Tomorrow we are making are way through Nebraska to Kansas City MO for the night. 

At the gas station we realized it was the first time we have cleaned bugs off our windshield in 6 years... we will miss the bug-free PNW.
