Wedding Anniversary Kicks off Play Dayz
Every year, though I am not sure why since Wes is the coordinator :), Hallows Church host their annual sports and rec camp for kids ages 5-12 around our wedding anniversary/Sadie's birthday week. It makes for a busy week as celebrating Sadie and Play Dayz naturally take precedence. But after a fun afternoon at Play Dayz, Wes and I got to spontaneously slip off to dinner at the end of the street while Mom watched the kids. Revel was delicious but the company was better. I reflected how in 9 years of marriage, Wes and I have had adventures, sadness, laughter, joy, fear, and ultimately Christ holding us together. Through the ups and down of life, thankfully Wes has been steadfast. I love that about him and his servant heart.
He is also a great camp director! I got to be a team leader for one day and enjoyed every minute of it.
This was Leighton's second year at camp and apart of the brown team this year. (SEE LAST YEAR POST HERE) She is having a blast!
On the last day there is a pizza party. Sadie was trying to get close to cute Sawyer.
And Levi wanted to blow Dad's whistle
Sibling love cheering on Leighton during the relay races!
