Sadie's 4th Birthday: Unicorns, Rainbows, Glitter, Sunshine, and all things Magical!
It was all things unicorns, rainbows, glitter and sprinkles for Miss Sadie today. She turned 4 and woke up to donuts, balloons and flowers from Wes. She then headed off to storybook dance camp thanks to Mimi and Big.
Then unicorn and rainbow puzzles and tattoos to pass the time till her party...
As many of you know, Sadie is a little fire ball. Quick witted, funny, stubborn, charming, and can push my buttons. Lately we have been talking about how to love others well with our words. Leighton is so patient with Sadie but it hurts her feelings when Sadie is selfish or harsh toward her. Sibling relationships, like any relationship, needs constant grace and restoration. We are definitely in a stage of discussing our hearts condition, others perception, and ways to glorify God by loving others and serving others well. I feel like daily I am asking someone to restore a relationship with another. Though it might be redundant, it is always a great opportunity to point to how we rebel against God and need his grace to be restored. Praying these two continue to build on their sister relationship and grow to serve the Lord together!

After that Sadie choose fried rice for lunch and then we got ready to go to South Lake Union Splash Park. I had invited friends from Sadie's preschool and church class to meet us there for cake. It is great to have parties at parks where the kids entertain themselves for free :)
Bubble party favors and unicorn party hats for the guests!
For dinner she wanted burgers so we went to Uneeda Burger in Fremont. Sadie is very into coloring right now so she colored while she waited for her burger. When we sat down at our table she said "hey we picked the right spot. they put a rainbow for my birthday." Yes sweet girl that is right!
She has been wanting a rolling suitcase for travel. I had found this unicorn suitcase and mom just happened to get the same backpack! As many of you know, Sadie is a little fire ball.
