2800+ Mile Road Trip: Day 4

We headed out Monday morning from Hoptown to our next destination, St Louis MO. It was very tough saying bye to my parents. Through my dad's tears he did choke out "If God can allow his Son to die on  a cross then I can let you go live on another side of the country". Encouraging but still sad to see him emotional. On another note the little baby did great riding to St. Louis! She slept the entire time except for a brief period when we stopped in Metropolis, IL.....aka the Home of Superman. 

 Leighton was asleep during the photo shoot or she would have definitely been apart. 

We ate lunch a local joint "Willy Jak's"... it was alright....

 Gateway to the West! After arriving in St Louis we made two stops at the Arch and Busch Stadium.

 So.....I have a life long friend, Louis Clayton, who lives in St. Louis who was gracious to host us for the night. Louis and Derek Quelette cooked us a wonderful homemade dinner. We laid in after dinner, ate mint chocolate chip ice cream and watched the Cardinals vs Brewers game/ the Singoff. Nice night.
