#SakanaSHIsaidYES

I think I am going to start hiring them out. Leighton has now pulled Sadie in a wagon, carried a bouquet, and dropped petals as a flower girl in 3 different weddings. They seem to have this gig down. It was sweet to watch them, but most importantly they had fun. Leighton got to the end of the aisle and realized she had petals left so she just flipped her basket upside down and dumped the rest out. Sadie proceeded to continue to drop petal by petal as she rounded the outside aisle to come back up.
For those of you who don't live in Seattle, whose wedding were the girls in? John and Nanette Sakanashi. We have known John since we moved here. At the time, he was a SPU student attending the Hallows Church and participating in our Missional Community. Now he is on staff with Wes at the Hallows and has watched the girls grow up. Their  main interaction is Sunday high fives or fist bumps when we get to church. It was so nice of him to ask the girls to be apart. We met Nanette when they started dating and we are enjoying getting to know her more since she moved to Seattle.
Wes has strange friends. Spencer and Cameron posing while I was taking the girls picture. And  Sadie with her nervous/excited face right before they walked down isle.
Nanette gave them the headbands to wear and from good ol Amazon prime I got their pink dresses and gold shoes. What would I do without Amazon prime? Drive? Waste time shopping? Yuck.   The dresses did show up a little different and each a different shade of pink and Sadie's was a little big but hey.. they were a cheap price and I never left my living room.
I had fun fixing their hair (Sadie in a crown braid all up and Leighton just small braid at the top for half up/half down look). After having girls and now a boy I can actually say....Girls are more fun to dress/buy for BUT boys are way more care-free and simple to buy for
