The Olympics

Our family really got into the Olympic spirit this year. The girls have enjoyed watching anything from swimming to volleyball and especially women's gymnastics. We did see this video the other day and it is pretty funny and probably sums up Wes and I, even though I don't want to admit it.

 In all their red, white and blue for the past couple of weeks...

 with a little Brazilian flare for the host country, Papa, and our friends that live there! Leighton was really into drawing Olympic symbols and flags. Both girls were recognizing countries on TV based on flags.

 Any activity over the past weeks has turned into a sport, competition or an Olympic event in Leighton and Sadie's eyes...

 even Levi tried to channel his inner Michael Jordan 

 All the kids sucked into the games on TV

 Cycling, track and field, tennis, volleyball, swimming, etc We have tried them all!

 And can't forget to hydrate!

 A little Usain Bolt love from Levi too. I forgot we had this onesie but I think it is circa 2011 when my parents brought it back for baby Leighton!

Tonight is the closing ceremony. Sad to see it end. Till 2020! USA! USA! USA!
