Captain Grami Comes to Visit
Grami visits! We seemed to fill our weekend with water and boating activities. I never knew mom was so into water sports. First stop was South Lake Union Park. We stopped for lunch but caught a free tour of the oldest steam boat still in Seattle, Viringia V.
Then watching the toy sailboats and float planes.
Next boating adventure was actually going on the lake. We found you can rent a little electric boat for an hour or two. It was fun!
The girls liked "driving" and honking the horn.
Sadie also had her 2 year old well check up. She still has a big head (90%), weight about 40% and height still 70%. She loved going to doctor. It is one of her favorite pretend play activities. So she was a giddy little girl. Giddy enough and fascinated by what Dr Hall and the nurse were doing that she didn't even cry for vaccine.
The girls have also been trying out Sadie's birthday gift, a tennis racket. We have some work to do but hoping one of them will play one day.
Thanks for coming Grami! (And organizing the closets, doing laundry, cleaning and watching girls!) Mom hurt her foot on the playground the first day here but luckily bounced back enough to be useful :) As Wes said, not being dead weight. Poor Grami.
