Adventures with Mimi and Big Part 2

On Wednesday we spent the day at Mt Rainier National Park. We drove the 2.5 hours down to the big volcano. We went up to Paradise Visitor Center and did a small hike to Myrtle Falls. The last time (and only time) we had been there was 3 years ago with Michael, Katie and Luanne, HERE

On the drive up the mountain we stopped for photo. Behind Candy and Kevin is the top of the volcano  that houses 7 glaciers 

So many wildflowers in the meadow. I can't believe Mt Rainier is so big (14410 ft high) there is a valley with meadows at ~5000ft up. 

 The girls would walk some then need a ride...

At Myrtle Falls 

1 mile hike is all we could handle with kids since they were wanting to be carried

We took pictures of wildflowers for Leighton to identify when we got home. 

We wore the girls out...
