Seventh Month Favs

The growing baby has ever changing opinions and preferences......

ErgoBaby Carrier: superior to the Baby Bjourn in our opinion. We have had both thanks to Cammie and Candy. We used the Bjourn a lot when she was younger but as she got heavier we needed something with more support and the ErgoBaby does just that!
  • ErgoBaby Pros = comfortable, supportive; baby can ride on front facing inward or on your back
  • ErgoBaby Cons = baby can not ride on front facing outward
  • Bjourn Pros = baby can ride on front facing outward or inward
  • Bjourn Cons = strain on hips and lower back; baby can not ride on your back
Blow dryer: if I am blow drying my hair in the house and Leighton hears it.... she will look around and force Wes to bring her into our room to watch. She will sit smiling on the bed and watch me blow dry my hair the entire time.

Graham: Her first crush.... he is one of the actors on the Your Baby Can Read videos. She gets so excited when he comes on the screen.
Shopping Carts: We let her ride in the shopping cart like a big girl for the first time at Target the other day. She loved it. (And yes I was the crazy mom wiping down the seat and bars thoroughly with Johnson & Johnson Hand and Face Wipes. I love those things!) See video below...
Tags:  on everything! It does not matter what it is... clothes... her highchair.... toys... blankets... she will find the tag and play with it. Wes and I were talking about a month ago that we should make a toy with a bunch of tags on it. Then a few days later we get a babydoll in the mail from Mema that has tags all over it! Some genius had already created our idea. Why could that not have been us? Leighton loves playing with Maggie McTaggerson (as we have named her). The actual product name is Taggies's Little Dolly by Mary Mayer.
