School's Out for Summer: Road Trip

On the day school let out, we headed south for warm weather and that we got. We road tripped from Cleveland to Clarksville TN to stay the weekend with Mimi and Big. The kids had a fun time outside, swimming, playing with cousins and grandparents, and celebrating L's birthday again!

Harry Potter theme! Leighton is currently reading her way through the series so loved getting all the Harry Potter gear :)

 After two nights we drove to Alabama. We had not been to Birmingham since we moved from there 8 years ago (HERE and HERE)  We showed Leighton the hospital where she was born. We were also able to get tother with the Morgado's who had moved back from Seattle to Birmingham a couple of years ago and our friends the Hudsons who were temporarily in Birmingham but headed back to Seattle soon.

I also go to have lunch with my old co-resident, Erica, and her family as well as another pharmacist, Mary.

 We spent one night in Birmingham and then drove on to Florida.... (see next blog)

After M-F in Florida, we spent the following weekend road tripping back. We stopped again in Clarksville and hung out with Mimi and Big.

Then back on the road until we arrived at home in Cleveland (still weird to say)
