My super long "what I'll miss about Seattle" list...

In no particular order because I have too many favs! Pictures are from after we decided to move (March- May)... trying to remember everything!

1.Hallows Church. Words can't describe the way the Lord has built community through His church. I don't know why I am so surprised. We prayed for a year for the Hallows prior to moving, many have prayed for it with us over the years, and we will still be praying for His people to make much of the gospel in Seattle and throughout the world! So many good good friends. No they are really family. Seriously just people who are selfless servants for the King that pour out love on God's people (which included us!). Moving to be apart of the Hallows Church as it was being planted in Fremont and later other locations was one of the best decisions we have ever made. The Lord knew how much he would grow us here.

2. It ties into #1 but it is our friends! We can't replace people. I just hope we don't become distant friends and can still visit, vacation, or serve together in some way in the future! I can't go into all the ways they are the best on here :)
Levi and his lady friends, Ila Venneman, Emory Moll and Addy Arthur

3. Working at Seattle Children's with an awesome group! Pictures below of the Hawaiian themed going away party they threw me at Esther's house!
4. Co-worker bible study! Probably 3-4 years ago we started a bible study after work with other pharmacists. So amazing to have this community and support at work. They must carry on without me!
Anny Chan and Susan Jacob
5. Our neighborhood, Fremont! We moved into our apartment the week we arrived in 2011 and resided here ever since. It has been a great, walkable spot for us over the years (more so in these summer when we can be outside)

Ophelia's used book store has been a favorite this past year and so has the kids' Storybook theater performance at Hale's Palladium in Fremont

5. Ballard (our neighboring neighborhood to the West that is full of markets, shops, restaurants, where the kid's went to preschool, the Ballard Locks and delicious desserts!)
 6. Ladro. It is not that it is our favorite coffee. It is just that Ladro is the closest coffee shop to our house so the first place you stopped when you have little kids walking with you. Over the years the kids grew more and more comfortable there. I have read my bible there more than my own house probably, played cards, read, colored with kids, and got to know the baristas and other frequent flyers like Ann (below) and Tim. The girls became so comfortable there they have their own cards and order alone. They get their supplies like napkins and water as if they are at home. It is sweet.

7. The Courtyard! It was a life savor over the years when the weather was not raining and over 50 degrees. It gave us another room to send the kids out to play!
 8. Touristy things to do...like pictures below of riding the Monorail from Seattle Center to Downtown or going to the Mariners game
