Goodbye Tour Weekend / Mother's Day Rowing and Bellevue Botantcal Gardens
On Mother's day we tackled the UW Row Boat rentals for the 4th time. Once we came and Sadie didn't weigh enough (25lbs) to ride, then we came again they weren't renting due to cold water, then we tried with all 5 of us and only 4 are allowed in a boat so we needed to split up and I didn't have my license to rent the 2nd boat.... but finally on Mother's Day 2018 we were able to beat the odds and go row boating on Lake Washington as a family. Wes and I did do it once for a date without the kids.
Being their mom is rewarding, challenging, sanctifying, and wonderful all in one. I love and protect them like a Mama Bear and wouldn't have it any other way.
The day prior we went to the Bellevue Botanical Gardens to spend some time with our friends, The Molls. They joined our Missional Community back in 2014 and our families have been close and shared great memories ever since.
Levi knocked on this door and kept telling the three little pigs to come out :)
