We BRAVE(d) Halloween Again

Over the weekend the girls helped Wes carve a pumpkin they had gotten the week prior at the pumpkin patch. We also took out all the seeds and attempted our first pumpkin seed roasting. It turned out okay but I have to remember to let seeds dry out better next time.

Leighton's class at Bobs Pumpkin Patch 

 The kids got to dress up for school. Sadie went as Tinkerbell and Leighton as Elsa. 

Get it? We Brave(d) Halloween? The kids dress up at different characters from the Disney movie  Brave. Leighton wanted to be Merida. She already had the dress and bows/arrows so I just ordered her a red wig. Sadie wanted to be the witch. Not just any witch but the witch specifically from Brave. I ordered her a gray wig and Mom found the broom, black crow and green fabric for a cap. In the movie the 3 little brothers of Merida accidentally get turned into bears so Levi was a little bear. Just the cutest, snuggly bear ever:)

Leighton really got into character ....

The kids trick -o - treated around Fremont as the business participated again this year. They went around with friends from the neighborhood area which was fun for them. Then some of the kids and their parents came by the house for chili. It was a nice night.
