24 Hours in Pittsburgh PA

On our way to Family Camp in Pennsylvania, we decided to stop and spend a night in Pittsburgh. It was on the way and we would be diving to camp on Sadie's birthday so we decided to explore a city we have never been to before and celebrate Boo turning 11. Sadie loves experiences as much as presents so a night in an Airbnb is what she wanted. She said "I want to eat out and roam the boutiques" so we did just that. We also went up the 140 year old Duquesne Incline.  The area of town we stayed in reminded us of Seattle and the entire city reminded us of Cleveland except hilly on a river instead of flat on a lake.

Pittsburgh is known for putting fries on everything so we ate at their famous Primanti's for fry filled sandwiches for lunch.

All the kids loved exploring and claiming space in the old (but updated) 5 bedroom townhouse we had for an Airbnb. When you book last minute you can get great deals!

Sadie's "cake" was a collection of pastries we raided from local bakery

She chose Italian for dinner and Piccolo Forno did not disappoint

After dinner we relaxed and watched baking and a movie

On the road to Family Camp!
