We wrapped up summer with pool time, naps, coffee shop dates, lemonade stand, friend picnics in the backyard and unfortunately another broken arm for Leighton.

The night of the broken arm.... we set out on a walk around the neighborhood. We went on a side street because the side walks are uneven and they wanted to skateboard.
Unfortantely when we got back to our street, I asked them to stay on sidewalk because of cars. Leighton hit a crack and fell off her skateboard and tried to catch herself with her right arm this time.
The Lemonade Stand! Sadie was persistent with me helping her set up a lemonade stand after seeing many pop up over summer in the neighborhood. They probably made $30-40 but we taxed them and took out start up cost to show them about real life :)
Hughes boys came over for dinner and play date!
Our neighbors grandkids, Harper and Lincoln, pop over often and occasionally bring popsicles from their grandparents house, Mr and Mrs Collins, to share.
