Spring Break: Maryland with Family
Reader beware: picture overload for all post beginning with Spring Break
Spring Break! The kids and Wes were off school this past week so I took off and we drove east to Maryland. We stayed with Wes' sister's family in Dunkirk, Maryland. Katie and Marc were recently stationed at Andrews Air Force base outside of Washington D.C. Their daughter Amelia is three and they just had twin girls, Harriet and Piper. It was our first time meeting the babies and no one could get enough of their sweetness!

Mimi and Big (Wes' parents) and Mema (Wes' grandmother below) all flew up from Clarksville TN to meet us! It was Mimi's spring break too and she announced it would be her last spring break as she is retiring from teaching after this year!
I love the way Mema talks and interacts with the kids. They all love the way she plays and has conversations with them like they are little adults. 94 never looked so good!
The first weekend we were there, we spent Sunday in Annapolis, Maryland. It is a cute, historic harbor town where the U.S. Naval Academy is located. We visited the Navy's campus as well as enjoyed eating lobster rolls and ice cream while walking the brick streets in town.
Sadie and Amelia really hit it off playing this week but it was also fun to watch Amelia and Levi interact, giggle, wrestle, and run together since Amelia is only 6 months older.

Then back to twin snuggles!
