Keepin' Cool with Papa

The heat wave and smoke from B.C. continued through last week. Papa brought a few guys out from his church out to serve Hallows. We appreciated their time and encouragement as well as an excuse to see Papa....but I didn't like having to share my Dad selfishly.

To keep cool we .... continue to go to wading pools and eat plenty of popsicles and ice cream.

Keep cool by going to playgrounds in the evening and Golden Gardens after dinner. 

 Papa had to get cool at hike up to 7500 ft of the beast, Mt Rainier, which is +14,000 ft on a day trip with the guys.

 Play and read outside even when it is getting dark, nice cool evenings. 

 Party in the Park at BF Day played hosted by Hallows Church. Face painting, food, games, bouncy houses and meeting neighbors. Each of them in their element below..... sweet butterfly Leighton, double fisting corn on the cob Levi, and busy, bouncing Sadie on the slide! 

 Of course to stay cool since their is no AC... dine outside at all the good places :)

Mom always sends little treats for us when Dad comes ... I loved watching the girls play with my childhood Poly Pockets. I was like a 7 year old little girl again.
