For the grandparents...

This blog is really to keep in contact (though I think it is skewed as it is only-one way) with friends and family since we moved to Seattle and to document a lot of our lives for the girls someday. Sorry to anyone who gets tired of pictures of the girls. This blog especially is for the grandparents (probably the only ones who care) as it just shows some new experiences for Leighton and Sadie.

Painting pumpkins and themselves….
 requires getting hosed off outside….
Leighton getting her first hair cut (over 3 years of pure nature growth…from baby mullet days to raggedy ringlets I kept letting it grow)
To going to the dentist (don't worry this wasn't her first time in 3 years) But this time she did look over at me mid-way through the appt and say "Mom Im having fun" in a serious voice. I think she is the only one who loves the dentist. Of course she took her book about it.
Going to parks that are both big and small. We went to get ice cream the other day at Molly Moons and noticed they had built a small park (known as a parklet) where a parking spot used to be on the street the even had turf grass and 2 swings! Love the use of space! But if you need to kick balls you have to go to an actual park
Or just get out for a walk in your princess gear. Never a bad idea.
Both girls have enjoyed playing Mommy lately with baby dolls...
And for Aunt's request here is an exciting sequence of pictures taken during snack time! Thriller! Katie you can drag and drop them from this page where ever you want I think!
Lastly Leighton showing me the Elsa, Anna and Olaf paper dolls she made to take the Meet and Greet!  She briefly relieved Mommy Guilt for screen time by doing something creative.
