Mall Walkers

The apartment we rent has very few windows (we call it "the bat cave") and if one of us is at home keeping Leighton you probably do not know what time of day it is till the other one gets home from work. So if either Wes or I havent been out of the house all day we try to do "an outing" so the other does not go stir-crazy. We dont have money to spend so going out -to- eat is usually not an option. Thus we run errands as a family or go to Red Mango and split a smoothie. The mall is also an option. Again no we dont have money to spend so going can be tempting or even cost us here and there (aka Baby Gap). No we dont power walk just yet but  Birmingham's 90+ weather and humidity have kept us from being able to go on walks outside so we are forced to drive the 1.2 miles to the mall to be able to stretch our legs. Downfall to going to mall....kiosk people. They make me feel guilty when I turn them down so I try not to make eye contact. I feel bad because they are just trying todo their job but I dont like being approached about buying products/services...if I wanted a remote control helicopter, flat iron hair straighter, or a massage then I would approach you. Oh well its almost September so maybe we will have some nice fall weather soon.
