Explore OH: First Camping Trip

We are stilling trying to understand the northeast Ohio weather. We planned a camping trip this past weekend with friends. We thought the first of May would be safe for nicer weather and but not hot enough to be uncomfortable or have to deal with bugs. Well it was not hot but I was surprised at how cool and damp it still is here in May. Anyways we went to Mohician State Park. It was nice and they have a state forrest close by with hiking, lake, canoeing, and other activities that might be better done mid-summer. Our friends/pastor's family joined us. They have three boys that our kids enjoy playing with which is nice. It was sweet getting to spend extended, one-on-one time with them too and get to know Aimee and Nate better.

Thankful for new friends in Cleveland like the Friedrichsens (Nate, Aimee, Owen (7), Gus (5), and Judson (1))

Ended with ice cream of course in a the little town of Hayesville OH.
