A White Christmas

A White Christmas

Levi woke up first. He came out and saw his blue car we got him. So then he drove it back to the girls room and we woke them up... only on Christmas morning will we wake others :)
Stocking first.
Then they opened their three gifts. The girls enjoyed Magic School Bus chemistry and microscope sets, Mimi!
Leighton was thrilled to get Kaya, 1774 American Girl Doll. And just by luck, last week she found the entire book collection for Kaya at the used book store for $8! win win
The snow from the night prior stayed through mid -day. So since we were done with presents and monkey bread by 8am.... we took a walk in the snow to Ladro for warm drinks.
And at Ladro we thought it would be a good idea to see if Gas Work's Park had enough snow for sledding! It did. The girls said sledding was the highlight of the day. Snow was the best gift!

After sledding we stopped by the nursing home and visited with a few residents. We brought Ms Ann some roasted pecans thanks to Mema.
An afternoon with "meet the princess" is always sweet. Levi is a huge fan and Sadie enjoyed her Elsa outfit gift.
We stopped by a few friends houses that evening to visit. At the Moll's house we were able to celebrate Jesus birthday. As part of their traditions they make a cake.
Merry Christmas!
