Louisville: a city that holds many loves

What are the reasons I like Louisville? Lets name them!
  •  Michael, Katie, Connor and Parker live there.

The girls had so much fun playing at their house, with all their toys, and driving their jeeps.
Grami is always entertaining someone.
Levi became a stair master!

  •  Michael has many connections. One of them is knowing the President of the Field of Churchill Downs. We had given Mom a family photo session for her birthday in Dec and she was a lucky woman to get to have family photos taken around the grounds and even on the track!  They even gave us a tour in some of the secret meeting rooms and Mansion suites. It is unreal what people spend betting on horses or for the atmosphere of the KY Derby.

  •  Homemade Ice Cream and Pie Kitchen was able to give Levi his first taste of ice cream, mint chocolate chip of course! He loved it.

  •  Morgan, my best friend from pharmacy school lives one street over from Michael.

  • Amber and Ashley, my two college roommates and best friends also live in Louisville!
They brought their kids to the park to play with us! Amber, Ashley and I got to have dinner and visit the cemetery where Ashley's two daughters are buried. It was such a difficult but sweet time visiting their graves with Ashley. Is there a greater loss than the loss of a child?

Besides those things, I had a sweet time attending Katie's bible study, visiting with the Lombards/Carrolls, watching my parents run themselves into the ground just to make the most of playing with the kids, and hanging out with my brother doing normal things like watching movies, going out to eat, and seeing him be a dad and minister to others:)
No lice, vomiting or hand foot and mouth for the Dudas side this trip. Just a little strep throat as we settle in back home :)
