Leighton Exposed to the Arts

Wes and Leighton have been reading the Chronicles of Narnia "The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe" over the past couple of weeks. So when we found out that the Seattle Children's Theatre was doing this story as play right now, we got excited. What the perfect date night for Wes and Leighton! They went last week and enjoyed it.

Then Mom got Leighton and I (and her) tickets for the Little Mermaid at the 5th Avenue Theatre Downtown Seattle for the Little Mermaid. It was so good! The costumes were great.

And to close out a week in the arts, Leighton's Kindergarten class took a field trip to the Seattle Children's Museum to see Stellaluna. I was  a chaperone which was fun.
