Christmas Eve

The anticipation of Christmas morning really starts to build for the kids the night before. But I have to admit that I get anxious wanting to start giving them gifts the day or two before Christmas! It is hard to wait especially when ours are just sitting wrapped under the tree.

I did give them a few on Christmas Eve to open that were group game gifts. Wes protested.

Opening games gave us something to do as we waiting around.

They like trivia games currently but unfortunately the pictured captured Levi picking his nose

We went to City Church in Tremont for Sunday morning worship. It was the church we started going to when we first moved to Cleveland. Our church had a Christmas Eve of the Eve service due to the space we rent so it was to go worship with old friends on Christmas Eve morning.

Since we are rarely in the Tremont neighborhood we stopped to try a new coffee shop.

Okay they got to open another gift later in the day!

That night we went to the Guertin's to eat tacos (Feliz Navidad) and
exchange gifts via White Elephant game.
love it when kids play board games :)

The Thrashers, Heberles, Jill, Devon's parents/brothers family, and the Kuszmals were there.

Sadie loves all the options of White Elephant

Levi engaged in arm wrestling

And Matt usually does a great job of keeping everyone entertained with minute to win it games

That night Wes and I prepped brunch for the next day. Christmas day brunch for us is usually sausage/egg casserole and monkey bread.

I stuffed the stockings and laid out their gifts

And to all a good night!
