Celebrating Sadie's 10th Birthday and Our 15th Wedding Anniversary

For #15 we went out to a really cool and yummy restaurant in Cleveland called Jaja.

For Sadie's 10th birthday she said she didnt want a party. She can be indecisive and go back and forth on what she wants or what she wants to do. I think she has expectations alot of the time and also wants everything to be 110% either from her or others. She anticipates that things and people will be fun. So after much deliberation she landed on having one friend, Harper Towns, over and we planned to go to a movie, Crocker Park for shopping, and out to eat at her restaurant of choice (Don Ramons for Mexican).

grabbed her a sash while shopping and a crown she proudly work

Because we celebrated on the weekend before her birthday, I think she was a little disappointed on her actual birthday that it was a semi- normal day as we had to work and they had practices. We did get lunch out together at her choice of Panera. She sweetly continued to wear her Birthday sash and enjoyed the attention. Leighton had made a cake at baking camp that we also enjoyed! Her and I did bike to Mitchells for dessert. Overall she was celebrated and those human emotions that we all feel did give way to good conversations about disappointment and expectations we place on holidays/birthdays/ourselves/other people. We talked about how only God never disappoints which was good for all of us :)
