England Countryside: Avebury and Lacock
On Sunday we left London (in rental cars!) for the countryside. Wes and Innes were the designated drivers. Wes did good with only two near misses while driving on the left side of the road. Along the way, Grami wanted to try KFC in England.
Sadie was my coffee shop date in the morning while the others ate at hotel before we left. We enjoyed their "toastie". |
On our way to the airbnb house in Bath, we stopped at Avebury. Very quaint. We dodge sheep poo in the fields, toured a house, and picnic in the gardens. We loved all the old stone.
To continue to break up the drive from London to Bath (~2 hours) we stopped in the village of Lacock. It was also very picturesque.
Everything we were seeing was new to all of us so we soaked up every view!
