October in Cleveland
Downtown Cleveland! I do love it when the sky is pink :)
Prepare for a photo dump of various pictures/activities from Oct. Above is showing Wes at the fire pit he built. And below is a stool we brought back from Mema's house. Wes wanted it and we found a cute spot that the sun hits.
Levi celebrated Johnny Appleseed day. I guess it is a thing in Ohio because he grew up here and is responsible for introducing apple trees to the midwest.
Playing at FMU for Leighton's cross country celebration night.
Around the house.... Sawyer is eyeballing Levi's peanut butter on a spoon.
Sawyer just likes to be very close to others.
They dressed themselves and were so proud they sent me a picture while I was at work. As were the boys..
Sadie at birthday parties for Shiloh and Addy.
Treats before school when mom drives!
A big fundraiser for the school is "Rock the Challenge" in which the kids do field day races and raise money for the school.
They love a good donut run!
Levi and Doggie and Sadie at the library.
Quarry Hill Apple Festival Day! We love this orchard. And then we tried to make caramel apples too but they weren't as good as Quarry Hill's
They made tiny dolls and ghosts that were semi-creepy
Elmwood park fall walks.
Homework and art
Sadie like wearing blue light glasses
Levi's kindergarten field trip (our last, first field trip). Wes joined!
Levi and his friends Christian, Marshall and Lincoln.
Coffee shop dates. It is still a thing for us in OH even if we don't live in Seattle.
Leighton asked to read in the car at one of Sadie's soccer games and wear a mask so no one would talk to her. ha! And Levi has been learning his phonograms so we have been reading Bob Books
My friends, Jackie and Morgan came with me to my other friend, Sharon's, photo gallery of her project Mothers in Black and White. Check it out!
The first family we met and lived next to when we move to Cleveland was the Veal family. They have since moved to Boston but I connected Antia and Sharon and she was photographed with her son.
Sadie had Greek Day at school. She loves to dress up.
Levi learning about worms I think....
Boxes are still the gift that keeps on giving.
And speaking of gifts. Wes had his 36th birthday at the end of the month on Oct 30th! Our good friends, Matt and Devon took us out to eat which was kind. And I surprised him with a chainsaw. The next night the kids and I took him for Mexican and Sawyer took Wes on a walk ;)
Oh and the girls insistent on making Wes a cake.
Welcome to 36, Wes. Home by 8pm on your birthday!
Levi is peering in but mostly we were out and about in Oct. The weather was very nice!
