May Days

May days mean the end of school and another birthday or so! Sawyer is 11 months old. We have been biking and walking a lot!

Wes and I were invited to our friends/neighbors, the Baumgartners, for a KY Derby Party who grew up horse racing. I was the only Kentuckian so I brought derby pie and Wes made homemade buttermilk biscuits. But they definitely knew more about horse racing and the derby.

The biking and walking to Rocky River park has started for rock throwing
Rocky River playground with the Baumgartner kids who we carpool with each day.
2nd grade had Egyptian day at school and it was so sweet watching Leighton help her get ready by beading brides in her hair. Sadie would also go to her for advice on what look good :)
Saturday morning date with Levi to get crapes.
Sawyer is not allowed on furniture or in bedroom/upstairs area but he has occasionally snuck up on the couch!
Mother's day was sweet so morning as it was cold and rainy. They made me pancakes and homemade gifts and a cross necklace :) (thanks Wes!)

Levi and his friend Sloan at school, hiking.
Tacos with friends!
Levi and Sadie went to help Mrs Collins in her garden with weeds which was so sweet

Grami and Papa came to visit and picked up Parker in Louisville to come with!
The two 5 year old had so much fun!

Levi had his last day of pre-K on May 20th! The character aware his teacher Miss Hass gave him was sincerity which is so true.

Leighton's class was learning about the medieval time period. They read Robin hood and took an archery field trip then had a Renaissance party.

Wes and Levi went to WCA high school graduation, matching.
