Cleveland (might) Rock!

Since we didn't make the trip to Louisville due to the broken arm, we explored Cleveland with Grami. We were suppose to take her back to dad in Louisville but since she couldn't get a descent flight out until Wednesday, we enjoyed her for a few more days. (Thank goodness she was here to watch Sadie and Levi so we could both stay with Leighton at hospital!)

On Saturday, our only plan was to spoil Leighton with donuts for breakfast. We went to Brewnuts. Yummy donuts and fun atmosphere.
Next we decided to drive Grami through downtown and over on the East side. We ended up in the museum district. Since the Cleveland Museum of Art is free, we decided to check it out. We were pleasantly surprised! Beautiful museum with great pieces, cool exhibits, a children's story time and an interactive art room using technology (which was our favorite).

we all fought over who's turn it was to making pottery in the air

Levi's favorite was Edmond and Peter's sword room (from Chronicles of Narnia)
On Monday we stopped by a yummy coffee shop (so far my fav in Cleveland) in Ohio City before heading to the The Greater Cleveland Aquarium
It was a hot day so instead of fighting the Labor Day lake goers we went inside to see the fish. Everyone's favorite exhibits were the sharks and petting the stingrays!
We have been surprised (maybe due to America's stereotype/perception of Cleveland) with all Cleveland has to offer. No disrespect to Seattle, but Cleveland's zoo, aquarium and art museum so far are better to us. Sorry Seattle, I still love you, but Cleveland might rock too!
