Lake Erie and other Exploration

Summertime shenanigans continue with Levi leading the townhome kids in ninja warrior moves.
Walks to the library (Levi fell asleep reading about a bio about Laura Ingalls Wilder) and back to school shopping
Close to where we are living is the Lake Erie Nature & Science Center by Hunington Beach. It a  free center with animals, facts, planetarium, and more!
Hunington Beach
Leighton and I have enjoyed riding from where we live into the community of Bay Village and usually stopping to get a treat and/or going to the Bay Village library.
Sadie and I have found a close coffee shop that is okay. It is more about the quality time with her than the coffee.
The kids have enjoyed skateboarding still and playing with the kids in the townhome complex.
Leighton reading when she needs some downtime.
And one of our neighbors owns a blow up movie theatre. After a neighborhood cookout, he blew it up and a couch for the kids to watch the movie UP.
We have also made our way closer to the city. In Ohio City, we visited the Westside Market after we visited a church there one Sunday.

And then ventured East of downtown to Squire's Castle.  The kids enjoyed pretending to be princesses and prince.
And here or there Levi is always peeing on a tree, tire, rock, etc. He is doing great without diapers!
The kids have also enjoyed swimming in the Lake. I was a little concerned about its cleanliness. But I learned they will post signs if the bacteria or algae levels are high. The water is warm, 70s, so fills good when it is hot outside for the kids to actually splash, swims and ride the waves the boats send in.  Lake Erie is the most shallow lake of the great lakes making it the warmest, but also not the clearest due to shallowness. The kids don't care.
Another day playing...
School starts so it will be back to the routine for these kiddos soon. Until then... enjoy Levi as a mini man post shower!
