Full Bloom!

The benefit of rain is it makes things grow. The kids are growing too fast, I can't believe Leighton is going to be 4 at the end of May. But that is not the growing Im talking about… its flowers! Everything is blooming and I think it is what spurred Leighton to commit to her birthday party theme. She choose a Flower Party after much deliberate and back-in-forth on different princesses. I think it is good theme and encouraged it because it would be easier on Mom plus I love flowers. She does too as there are jars of flowers from the street all over our house she has picked. We have been to the tulip fields in Mt Vernon a couple of times (2014 and 2012… not sure why we didn't go in 2013) but we knew she would enjoy it more this years since her love for flowers has grown.

The puddles were more fun than the tulips. Leighton sniffed a couple tulips but then her and Sadie focused on puddle jumping. That lasted till they got wet and were ready for a change of clothes :)
