Sugar and Spice and Everything Nice x 2

ITS A GIRL! We get to happily announce that the new little baby set to arrive toward the end of July is going to be a little girl as well. No we have not declared a name but we have one we are leaning towards so hopefully we wont be naming her in the hospital again like we did with Leighton. 

Leighton with the ultrasound picture we had a couple weeks ago....

Leighton knows "Mommy is having a baby" as she says and she will tickle the baby or ask "What doing?" to the baby but the sweetest thing she does is kiss her little sister....

I am sure this little baby will be nothing like Leighton but I sure wouldn't mind if she was similar .... I love Leighton's sense of humor, her sweetness, timidness, talkative nature, and that she is easily content (for now). She goes with the flow pretty well and is neat/clean freak... probably gets that from her Daddy. Hopefully both my little girls will have their Daddy's personalities! 

Lately she has been interested in crafting as we call it... meaning anytime we glue, paint, color or sticker. Below she is finger painting and doing water colors. 

Eventually I would like to see if she is interested in sports when she is old enough to take lessons or be on a team but for now she is a little girlie girl at heart :) 

 A girlie girl that can build one mean fort though....

But my favorite thing she does (and I can only pray that her interest actually grows deep and authentic) is ask to read her bible...
