First Service, First Slippers, and First Birthdays

The Hallows Church experienced its first full worship service this Sunday! The church has been meeting on Sunday nights together for bible study or holding connection dinners and desserts as informational sessions for people interested. We also currently have three small group bible studies going on during the week in people homes. But on Sunday we incorporated all parts of worship .... singing ....sermon .... communion ... offering...

Everyone involved in the church served in different ways Sunday. Wes helped with the communion and greeting. Leighton and I spent our time serving in the nursery alongside Molly Bounds and Melissa Perry. Hopefully the pictures will give you an idea of where we are meeting as of now....

We are renting space from Fremont Baptist Church (a short walk from our house)

 We created our own nursery area...had five sweet little girls all under the age of two. We need some little boys!

 Other news... Cheeks is sitting up alone! And she wears house slippers now... 

and she tucks them under her bed before going to sleep : )

 And last week Leighton attended her future BFF's birthday party. 

 Delaney Arthur turned one last week (making Leighton and her about 6 months apart). We attended her birthday party!
