Levi Epilpsey Doctor Appts

 

When Levi see his epileptologist, Dr Ahsan Mossa Naduvil Valappil aka Dr. Moosa, he has the best day! He absolutely loves coming to my work and our time. Today Dr. Moosa said no changes to meds (continue Keppra) and do yearly EEG in June. We are thankful for 3 years since last seizure but yet all would love to see the spikes on EEG go down and ultimately outgrow epilepsy. 

Levi and I had a good morning checking off the same activities usually each time he comes which include: 

1. riding to work together, parking in my garage, taking the basement/underground walkway to dodge the "robots" as if we are Mario characters

2. breakfast and a drink from Starbucks on site 

3. visit Cleveland Clinic gift shop which is awesome; he usually picks a toy/markers and clay 

4. waiting room (I work and he plays or watches the TV )

5. see Dr. Moosa who usually makes him do neuro testing which Levi happily participates

6. Spend rest of time in Mom's cubicle until Dad picks up (plays switch, school worksheets or coloring; he also enjoys my basketball hoop)

7. dry erase marker drawing or hangman on my window (usually answer is "levi and mom")
