Us in our fun eclipse shirts from Mimi and Big! |
Total Solar Eclipse came through Cleveland on April 8th. We had experienced 90% in Seattle but being in the path of totality was a very different experience. I was surprised at how dark it actually got. We appreciated having Mimi to give us play-by-play updates on what was happening and what to look for.

The kids were off school that day so Leighton and Mimi planted flowers |

Leighton was busy. She made eclipse cookies |
 |
And they worked on a school project

It was fun that all our neighbors and their friend were in the backyards together and the cheers/fireworks during totality was exciting!
