January 2021
Some moments through the long month of January. Thankful for a month to step back from social media and holiday busyness, rest, and build on relationships with friends, Wes and kids.
Sadie's 2nd grade class and playing checkers with her friends
Leighton and Sawyer love to snuggle. He throws his big paws over the kids when they lay down saying "don't leave me!"
Michael and Katie gave us Turbo so we can watch Sawyer in laundry room when we are gone and throw him treats.
Leighton began using her sewing machine and made a few pillows.
Last year I read through bible in year using Nancy Guthrie's Praying Through the Bible For Your Kids in 1 year book which I highly enjoyed! recommend to anyone with or without kids because the corresponding devotions and prayers are applicable and great for all. This year I am going to read through the bible but chronologically and I don't know why but I was pleasantly surprised to learn they have this in print :)
Kids playing around house and having tea parties!
Sadie's dance class was virtual a few times in Jan due to covid-19 numbers.
Sadie also started soccer.
And Sawyer loves to ride in car! Sawyer is getting big as you can tell but still a puppy.
The kids love his "high five" trick.
We had quite a few snow days for sledding!
And we all learned to play chess this winter!
Ice skating fun at Crocker Park.
Documenting Levi still naps and has sleep marks regularly.
We have been enjoying our church community, Local Church. Here the kids welcomed and handed out communion cups after they made spell "Local"
We went out for our friend's Matt Guertin birthday to Strip and the food was so good! Look at Wes' steak!
Sadie during bible reading time at school.
And we made it to watch her and Leighton get speech meet awards!
More Sawyer cuddles and sledding!
