Groundhogs Days, Hudson Visit and the rest of February
February went by much faster than January. When they tell me they are bored I remind them of their toys and Christmas gifts, we talk about gratitude and ability to rid all the toys if they can't find anything to do.... in the case below they found their latte maker one Saturday to entertain.
The girls' school had an open house. These two kids, Hudson and Leah, are Leighton's closest friends in her class. This is Levi in kids ministry at church, always pretend playing... usually with lion figures.
It was also Groundhogs day this particular Sunday. The Friedrichsons go all out for the holiday... we happily participated!
And then enjoyed a sunny bike ride as a family on a warmer winter day! We rode to Rocky River park ... always fun to throw rocks in the lake.
Over the last month or so Levi has really increase his writing skills which has been fun to watch. He also is a teachable kid who will sit still and let you help him which is great at home and school.
And Leighton enjoyed a Harry Potter night at the Rocky River Library with Wes! Fun date night for them.
Snow came back! Never know when we will get it...look in second pic for the three sweet window wavers as I was pulling away for work.
A little valentine book gifts, just because.
Costco run getting ready for our visitors, the Hudsons
Matt, Mary Ann, Sellers, Piper, and Jack Hudson flew to Cleveland to Birmingham on their way back to Seattle. It was so good to have comfortable, easy friends tying with us for a long weekend.
We took them to Mitchells ice cream, Edgewater Park by lake and tobogganing sledding in Cleveland Metro Park, but mostly just hung around house!
Thanks for coming!!
