A Spoonful of Sugar

Sweetness all around these past couple of weeks for the Moore girls. Grami visited and spoiled us all (probably me the most with little additions for the house to be honest... I revert back to childhood when my parents visit). She took the girls and I to get afternoon high tea at Emerald Tea Room. We all had a delightful time.

Sweet treats continued after church at Westside Market. All the indulgences!

"Anything worth doing is worth doing well" said Mary Poppins. That is exactly what Sadie did when she told us she wanted to enter the Mary Poppins costume competition at her school last week. It was a delight to watch her enjoy getting into character. I had no idea she paid attention to the way Mary Poppins carried herself with confidence until she put the outfit on. She had so much fun participating at school. She had such a genuine, joyful demeanor.
She competed with other K-6th graders. She didn't place 1st-3rd but did get honorable mention or 4th place and she was thrilled!

Of course in her parents' (and grandparents') eyes she was the cutest and most charismatic nanny of them all.

And what happens when you consume so much sugar? Your teeth fall out! Well that is not why Sadie lost hers, but she did lose her first two teeth last week. Again she was thrilled for the new adventure! I love watching her experience things for the first time.
Carry on Sadie because to me you are "practically perfect in every way"!
