Tis the Season of Dress Up

I am glad the kids have fun with dressing up and participating in school activities. They do not grumble but rather lean into the projects or festivities which is great! Levi's 4th grade class was studying the middle ages so they had a dress up party and made shields.

The drama club and music department put on a play /performance,  Madrigal Dinner, in which Leighton dressed up in renaissance apparel and sang. Sadie was one of the servers and left with $35 in tips!

Levi's class read Alice in Wonderland and then had a Mad Potter Tea Party. He dressed as a card with Leighton's help!
Leighton is our family's go-to for coming up with creative costumes (especially last minute). For the Upper School Greek Games Day, Leighton went as Queen Esther and Sadie went as Cleopatra. Leighton even made her own costume!

And for Halloween, Leighton hosted a little party (fire, games and chili). She dressed up with friends as Men in Black. Sadie and her friend, Harper, went as a cop and robber. Levi went as UK player and was the only one Wes and I had to take around trick-o-treating!
